Escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and spend a day in the High Atlas at Kasbah Africa, Atlas Mountain Nature Retreat, relaxing and enjoying wildlife and wilderness in an idyllic setting. Only 80 minutes from the ‘Red City’, Kasbah Africa really feels like it is a world away. Built on the slopes of the fertile Azzaden Valley, facing Takerkhort Wildlife Reserve, the Kasbah enjoys a dramatic position on a bend above a fast-flowing mountain river.

Choose to relax and sunbathe by the infinity pool, explore the terraced orchards, spot birds, meet ‘Dongle’ the resident donkey, visit the tortoise

garden or follow a river nature trail to nearby Torort Berber village. A delicious lunch is included, prepared by chef Brahim and served under willow trees surrounded by 360 degree panoramic views of nature and mountains.

ITINERARY

0830  Rendezvous with driver. Depart Marrakech, drive via Tahanoute and Asni

0950  Arrive at Kasbah Africa in Azzaden Valley; Berber welcome with dates & milk

1300  Lunch; more time to relax, swim, sunbathe, bird spot or snooze

1630  Optional walk to Torort Berber village

1700  Meet vehicle and return to Marrakech
1820  Arrive Marrakech

A stop to visit a local market will be made on market days - Tuesday (Tahanoute), Thursday (Ouirgane) and Saturday (Asni). This tour operates daily throughout the year in good weather. Timings are approx. and may vary due to interests of the group, weather or seasons.
